This is your chance to really experience life and discover yourself before you have a lot of ties and responsibilites, for example getting married, having kids etc. If price is the only issue... There are grants, scholarships, get a job, loans, etc etc. Talk to your school counselor. That's what I'm doing, and she has helped a TON!!! I'm in sort of the same situation right now. But I have one supportive parent which really helps me out =) Whatever you decide, remember this is your life, and your parents should support you to make your own decisions. Don't let them dictate what you should be doing, when you're finally free! =D |
| | | | | | College life is crazy. Take it from a college student. Out of state just leaves you on your own. If you can afford to live on campus take that option, you'll spend so much time making and hanging out with new friends you won't be going home to mommy and daddy. Plus, if you decide to get involved in a fraternity, you'll have all sorts of events that will require your attendance as well. And if you're afraid that you're not getting far enough away from home, go to a college across the state. For example if you live in Denver consider attending college at CSU in Fort Collins or Adams State in Alamosa or Somewhere in Grand Junction. You'll be a few hours away and gas prices will keep both you and your parents apart. Good Luck! |
| | | | | | forget about the freshman 15, its more 45 peace out! |
| | | | | | you sure? mesa state isn't a very academic college, often degrees from there are looked down upon. It is a fun college though and the new dorms are nice. Up to you I guess. Good luck with your college search. |
| | | | | YEAH just go and get it over with! |
