| | | | right now i am like really confulzed. My parents say to get grades so i can get into college. They have been worrying about it since like 6th grade. and i tell them just to relax. My time will come. Is this because neither of them went to college? I also feel pressured to keep my grades up at straight a's and if i don't get that i get mad at myself. Any way to stop????
Please respond

Do you parents get mad if you don't get straight A's?? It's important to get good grades but getting mad at yourself when you don't isn't good for you it creates mental stress and life should be happy and enjoyable not stressful. Maybe just realize if you don't get A's that it really is ok! You sound pretty smart and I think you'll be ok if you don't get straight A's. Stop bad habits now (don't get so mad at yourself!! |
| | | | | | Yesterday we have a family talk about the meaning of going to college to US people, in Latinamerica most people go to university because of the State ownership of them. And we were focusing on the point that for families without graduated parents it's very important for them their sons go college. But what I can say to you, is always do your best, the maximum effort, and think optimistic, always see you in the future as a college graduated and you will be, good luck, and don't worry, do your best, and you will get all you want. |
| | | | | | My Advice is not to procrasinate too much. you see that's what my problem is. I've procrastinated for too long and now i'm falling my classes and might not graduate. If Any one has any advice on procrasination i'd love to hear it. |
| | | | | | You'll have to learn how to quit procrastinating if you ever plan on having a job or going to college. If you continue to procrastinate, you'll fail out of college and you'll likely lose your job for not getting the work done on time. I would suggest you get it together now while you have a change to learn about time management and practice it before faced with the rest of life's challenges... speaking of all that I need to go do some homework now. |
| | | | | | Okay, so My brother's in jail, and I don't know what to think. He's been in jail before a few times, but this is different. The sentencing isn't for another week, but it's already established that it will be a couple years. He has a 1 year old daughter that I will now be taking care of for 4 days out of the week because the mom is a druggy and can't take care of her. This is all so frustrating and I don't know what to do. My first impression is to slap him upside the face for being so....stupid. But maybe forgiving him and supporting him through this would be better, but I've tried that before and no good has come of it......yet. |
